Serving Others

Our school is committed to serving others with compassion, integrity, and purpose. Through volunteer projects, community partnerships, and service-learning opportunities, our students, faculty, and staff work together to make a positive impact both locally and beyond. We believe that serving others builds character, strengthens connections, and inspires lifelong leadership. By giving our time, talents, and resources to those in need, we strive to create a caring community where everyone feels valued and supported.
A few highlights of how we serve:
- Annual Canned Food Drive benefiting River City Food Bank
- Annual Christmas Giving Drive benefiting Sacramento Children’s Home
- Our Pre-K students make valentines and sing for the residents of Aegis Living Carmichael
- Our Kindergarten students participate in the Crayon Initiative by collecting and sorting used crayons for donation to children in need
- Our third graders collected gently used books, decorated buddy bags, and delivered them to a nearby Title I school to support students who have fewer books at home and to share the joy of reading with them
- Our eighth-grade students team up with the Grandparents Club to sew special bags for young patients at Sacramento Shriners Hospital.
