Busy Bee: Petal to the Metal
Each Busy Bee had their hands covered in paint as they mixed vibrant colors to rev up this amazing bouquet. Flower petals were hand painted in teal blues, apple greens, and intense shades of purple, which were later photographed and reproduced onto metal. This one of a kind creation is sure to finish first.

Kindergarten: Our Community in Bloom
The kindergarten class artistically brought their vision of a caring community to life with expressive self-portraits and renderings of their favorite places in town. The school, the church, the store, the skyscrapers, the homes, the playground, the grass, the dogs, the flowers, the birds and the butterflies were all proudly drawn with love. There is quite a buzz amongst the class wondering with excitement which lucky family will keep the artwork! The special layered mixed media collaboration was professionally finished and is a delightful treasure to be enjoyed forever.

Grade 1: Our First Alphabet
Warm earthy tones welcome the viewer into the penmanship and artistic endeavors of youthful art making which is reminiscent of the artful alphabet explorations by Jasper Johns. A one of a kind framed mixed media on watercolor paper.

Grade 2: You Have Our Hearts
A grouping of Pop Art influenced individually painted hearts that will grab the attention of your eyes and will pull on your heartstrings.

Grade 3: Butterfly Away with Me
Personalities soar as each third grade student brings a beautiful butterfly to life with oil pastels. This one of a kind triptych hangs horizontally and will add dynamic movement to any wall.

Grade 4: Birch in Bloom
The fourth grade class collaborated on a gorgeous landscape of mixed media collage on canvas. Layers and layers of expression reflect on the birch forest and the personalities within.

Grade 5: Our 5th Grade Peace
Each 5th grader made their very own piece of the peace. A strong collaboration of styles unites with the universal peace symbol and represents artistic freedom.

Grade 6: Building a Foundation
Eighteen sixth grade artists came together to each create an individual mark that provided the foundation for this vibrant and whimsical painting. Nine artists were assigned to paint buildings on the bottom of the horizontal canvas; and the remaining nine students painted a roof top on each building. Together in full collaboration, the class gave the painting a strong base. With the assistance of their art teacher, the base was used as pure inspiration for the abstract town using many elements that the students review in the art studio on a weekly basis. Layer by layer, the piece came to life, much like a building is constructed. Inspired by the groundbreaking of St. Michael's new iMast building, the class found this theme appropriate as they are able to view their painting change with time as well as our new facility in the future.

Grade 7: Flower Field
This is an oil/acrylic piece that really captures the personality of the Seventh grade class. Bold, Bright, and Big are just some of the traits that are reflected in this very special abstract piece. Layers of a multitude of colors and paint on this 48 by 60 canvas make this painting truly one of a kind.

Grade 8: Blossoms Goodbye
An elegant work of art, which highlights the many talents of the graduating eighth grade class. The artwork captures and preserves the student's individual outlooks on life with quotes etched on glass and hand painted illustrations behind. Simply beautiful.
